Important settings for Chromebooks
This guide helps you configure your Chromebook to ensure you receive notifications from the Cosafe app properly.
To hear the alarm signal on your Chromebook, you MUST have the sound enabled and use the Cosafe app.
When you have a Chromebook, you should install the Cosafe app for Android via the Google Play Store. If your organization uses a company portal or if your IT department usually distributes apps for you, please contact your local IT support for assistance with installing the app.
Important: When you create a new work profile or start up a new Chromebook for the first time, you must restart the computer once after completing all the settings. This ensures that the Chromebook can send notification sounds properly.
Please note that the exact names and locations of the settings below may vary depending on which version of Chrome OS your Chromebook is running. If you don’t find the exact settings as described, look for similar terms or options.
