How to reset your password in Cosafe

If your initial Cosafe invitation link has expired or you don't remember your password, this guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to reset your password.

Important note

You must first receive the initial invitation email from a Cosafe administrator in order to activate your account.

Steps to reset your password

  1. Go to the Cosafe app:

    • Open the Cosafe app on your mobile phone or Cosafe Desktop App on your computer.
  2. Request a new password:

    • On the login screen, click "Cosafe login".
    • Click on "Forgot Password?"
  3. Check your email:

    • Log in to your email account associated with Cosafe.
    • Look for an email from Cosafe.
    • If you can't find it, the email might be in the "Other" tab or spam folder.
  4. Change your password:

    • Open the email and click on the "Change Password" link.
    • Enter a new password that meets the following criteria:
      • At least 10 characters long
      • Includes at least one number (0-9)
      • Contains at least one special character (e.g., !?"#€%&)
      • Has both uppercase and lowercase letters

You have to enter your new password twice — both fields on the reset page are for the new password, not your email.

  1. Log in:
    • Return to the Cosafe app or Desktop App.
    • Log in using your email address and the new password you just created.

The password reset link is valid for 30 minutes. If it expires, you can request a new one by repeating the steps above.

You can request a maximum of 4 password reset emails within a 12-hour period. If you exceed this limit, please wait before trying again.
