How to reset your password in Cosafe

If your initial Cosafe invitiation link has expired or you don't remeber your password, this guide provides step-by-step instruction on how to reset your password.

Steps to reset your password

  1. Go to the Cosafe app:

    • Open the Cosafe app on your mobile phone or Cosafe Desktop App on your computer.
  2. Request a new password:

    • On the login screen, click "Cosafe login".
    • Click on "Forgot Password?"
  3. Check your email:

    • Log in to your email account associated with Cosafe.
    • Look for an email from Cosafe.
    • If you can't find it, the email might be in the "Other" tab or spam folder.
  4. Change your password:

If you end up on a logged-in page when clicking the link, log out by clicking the three lines in the top right corner and selecting "Log out." Then click the link again to reset your password.

  • Open the email and click on the "Change Password" link.
  • Enter a new password that meets the following criteria:
    • At least 10 characters long
    • Includes at least one number (0-9)
    • Contains at least one special character (e.g., !?"#€%&)
    • Has both uppercase and lowercase letters

You have to write your new password twice. So don't enter your email first.

  1. Log in:
    • Return to the Cosafe app or Desktop App.
    • Log in using your email address and the new password you just created.

The password reset link is valid for 30 minutes. If it expires, you can request a new one by repeating the steps above.
