Not receiving the alarm signals on your computer?

Computers work a bit differently from mobile phones when it comes to receiving push notifications.
Follow the steps below to ensure you can receive notifications and the Cosafe alarm signal on your device.

  1. Enable sound on your computer.

    • No app notifications can push through if the sound is turned off.
  2. Check that the app is active in the system tray/taskbar.

    • The Cosafe Desktop App must be active.
    • To receive an alarm (whether from someone else or from a Self-test), you must keep the app active but not fully open.
    • This means you should close or minimize the app, but not quit it completely.
  3. Verify notifications are allowed in system settings.

    • Ensure notifications for Cosafe Desktop App are not disabled in your computer’s settings.
  4. Confirm your computer is not in a locked or sleep state.

    • Cosafe cannot wake a locked or sleeping computer.
