Why am I hearing the wrong alarm sound? (Android)
If you're not hearing the loud alarm signal when testing your alarm, or if the sound you receive doesn't match what's configured in the admin panel, your device settings may need to be adjusted.
If you can't download, update, or configure your phones setting yourself, contact your local IT department.
Troubleshooting
1. Clear Storage Data
Clearing the app's storage data can resolve issues caused by outdated or corrupted settings affecting alarm playback.
2. Disable "Remove Permissions if App Is Unused"
Android may automatically revoke app permissions when an app hasn't been used recently. This can interfere with Cosafe's ability to receive and play alarm signals correctly.
To disable this setting:
- Open Settings on your Android device.
- Navigate to Apps and find Cosafe.
- Ensure Remove permissions if app is unused is turned off.
- If you can't edit this setting, contact your IT department.

Alarm Sound Types
Cosafe uses two distinct alarm sounds:
Alert Signal High (High alarm signal)
*A loud, continuous siren signal.
Alert Signal Low (Low alarm signal)
*A shorter, softer chime signal. *
Which sound plays for a given alarm is configured by your Cosafe administrators.
