SCIM User Provisioning

SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) is a standardized protocol that enables automatic user provisioning and deprovisioning between identity providers (like Azure AD, Okta, etc.) and service providers like Cosafe.

With SCIM integration, you can automatically sync users from your Active Directory or identity provider into Cosafe, ensuring that user accounts are created, updated, and removed in real-time without manual intervention.

This is an add-on service

If you want to activate SCIM integration, contact support@cosafe.com and they will help you set it up.

Benefits

  • Automated User Management: Automatically create, update, and remove user accounts
  • Automated Synchronization: Changes in your identity provider are reflected in Cosafe
  • Reduced Administrative Overhead: No more manual user management
  • Enhanced Security: Automated deactivation when users leave your organization
  • Group-based Access Control: Sync users into predefined groups based on your AD structure

How quickly changes are synchronized

The synchronization rate depends on the SCIM client implementation (for example, Entra ID), and changes can be delayed depending on their optimization decisions.

For example:

  • Okta: changes are immediate
  • Entra: the synchronization is delayed in cycles of 20—40 minutes.
