info

If you can't change the basic settings the alarm is forced down from the main account and this information is predetermined. But you can still configure the settings below.

  1. Set predefined groups (optional)

    • Select one or more groups that will automatically receive the alarm when it's triggered.
    • If the sender belongs to additional groups beyond the default ones, they can add these groups during the alarm process.
    • Note: Default groups cannot be deselected by the sender.
  2. Restrict to predefined groups only (optional)

    • Enable the "Alarm only to preselected groups" setting to remove the step where the sender can add additional recipient groups.
    • The alarm will be sent solely to the preselected default groups.
    • This configuration ensures that alarms are directed to the appropriate recipients as per your organization's protocols.
  3. Access advanced settings

    • Click on "Show advanced settings" to reveal additional configuration options.
  4. Show a map and allow a change of location (Recommended)

  • This setting enables the sender to confirm or modify their location before sending the alarm.
  • If disabled, the sender's location is automatically detected without the option to change it.
  • We recommend keeping this enabled to ensure accurate location reporting.
  1. Allow users to add customized alarm details to the alarm
  • Activating this option adds a step in the alarm process, allowing the sender to provide situational details to recipients when the alarm is sent.
  1. Show warning if the alarm should really be sent out (Recommended)
  • This adds a final step in the alarm process, requiring the sender to confirm before sending the alarm.
  1. Block notifications
  • Enabling this setting suppresses other alarm and message notifications once this specific alarm is active.
  • Cosafe will not send additional notifications; users will receive data updates on their devices during the active alarm.
  • To view new messages, users should monitor the message thread within the app.
  • Note: This feature is available in app version 3.2 and later.

  1. Alarm instructions
  • Administrators can input specific instructions that are automatically sent to recipients when an alarm is triggered.
  • These instructions can only be created and edited by administrators within the admin panel.
  1. Autostart checklist
  • Assign a predefined checklist that activates automatically when the alarm is sent.
  • This checklist is shared with alarm recipients, allowing collaborative management, though only authorized users can conclude the checklist.

  1. Save your configuration
  • Click on Save when you are done.
